Recap: Camp Pendleton Donation Drive

During the month of April, the Southern California clubs hosted an online donation drive for Marines and Sailors returning to Camp Pendleton from deployment. We exceeded our goal and collected 800 new t-shirts and 730 new pairs of socks.

These items were delivered in 19 boxes to Operation Help-A-Hero, an all-volunteer charity dedicated to the well-being and care of our military members. The barracks of the 1st Batallion 5th Marines will be cleaned, decorated, and filled with welcome bags containing toiletries, snacks, towels, and washcloths, as well as t-shirts and socks provided by Buckeyes.

THANK YOU to the San Diego Buckeyes, Orange County Buckeyes, and Los Angeles Buckeyes that participated in this service event! #BuckeyesGive
