Recap: Cupid’s Cleanup

On February 13, seven San Diego Buckeyes volunteered and picked up 68 lbs of trash and 4.5 lbs of recycling across 10.65 miles! This is the largest impact that our club has made via a virtual community service event to date.

The most common item picked up was cigarette butts and the most unusual item was a heart carabiner. Cupid’s Cleanup was led by I Love a Clean San Diego, our annual beach cleanup partner. THANK YOU to our volunteers!
